Culinary Arts Program:

culinary_arts_sm.jpg

According to the Florida Department of Labor, six of the top twenty-five occupations that are gaining jobs are in food service, and the food service industry creates over 2,000 new employment opportunities annually in the Broward County area alone. Our Culinary Arts program takes chef training to the next level by attracting the finest chefs in the area. Our chefs combine classic culinary training techniques with state-of-the-art technology.

The Culinary Arts Program at Broward Tech Centers is accredited by the American Culinary Federation. Graduation from an ACF accredited culinary training program is a passport to begin a career as:

  • Chef
  • Executive Chef
  • Restaurant Manager

Training in our Culinary Arts program will prepare you for a career with worldwide opportunities. Graduates currently use the chef training they have acquired in our Culinary Arts program while working in fine restaurants both locally and around the globe.

The Department of Labor says that the average income for a worker with a technical certificate is double that of a high school graduate and graduates with a certification in culinary training often make more than some university graduates.

Register for our Culinary Arts Program today!
